Writing under more than one pen name

Each pen name gets its own Penomaly account. That keeps every name's readers, sending domain, look and unsubscribe list completely separate, which is what most authors with more than one name want: a reader who signed up for your romance never gets your thriller newsletter by accident, and a problem on one name's list never pauses the other.

Setting up a second pen name

A second pen name needs a second Penomaly account.

  1. Sign out of your current account.
  2. Sign up with the email address you use for the second pen name.
  3. Go through setup as that pen name: add its books, its sending domain and its reader list.

Each account has its own plan, sized to that pen name's list.

Swaps

In the swap market each account is its own author, with its own listing and its own verified list size. Partners see the pen name, never your legal name.

What a "pen name" in Settings is for

Inside one account, Settings has a pen name too. That is the name your emails come from and the name partners see in the swap market. It is not a way to run two separate lists from one account.
